Jeanne Jones Wellness LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and share personal data. This Privacy Policy explains our practices with respect to information we collect through our website at https://www.jeannejoneswellnessllc.com and related online pages and forms (collectively, the "Site"), and describes the rights and choices available to you.
This Policy applies to personal data we collect through the Site. It does not apply to information you provide directly in the course of receiving physical therapy, wellness, fitness, or consultation services, which may be handled under separate agreements and, where applicable, separate confidentiality and health-information obligations. We provide this Policy consistent with the New Hampshire Data Privacy Act, RSA 507-H (the "NHDPA"), the Federal Trade Commission Act, the CAN-SPAM Act, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, and other applicable law.

5. Sensitive Data and Opt-In Consent
"Sensitive data" includes personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, mental or physical health condition or diagnosis, sex life, sexual orientation, or citizenship or immigration status; genetic or biometric data processed to uniquely identify an individual; personal data collected from a known child under 13; and precise geolocation data.
We do not seek to collect sensitive data through the Site, and we will not process your sensitive data without first obtaining your affirmative, opt-in consent (or, for a known child under 13, verifiable parental consent) where such consent is required by the NHDPA or other applicable law.
Withdrawing consent. You may withdraw any consent you have provided at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 16. We will cease processing your data for which consent has been withdrawn as soon as practicable, and in any event no later than fifteen (15) days after we receive your withdrawal request. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before we received your request.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share personal data with the following categories of third parties, only as needed for the purposes described in this Policy:

7. Sale of Data, Targeted Advertising, and Profiling
We do not sell personal data in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration, we do not process personal data for targeted advertising, and we do not engage in profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide a clear method to opt out, and we will honor opt-out preference signals as described in Section 8.
8. Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Universal Opt-Out Mechanisms
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, some of which are set by our hosting platform, for essential functionality, security, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, including by refusing or deleting cookies; however, disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) and opt-out preference signals. We recognize and honor universal opt-out mechanisms, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. 10. How to Exercise Your Rights; Our Response
To exercise any of the rights above, submit a request to us using the contact details in Section 16 and identify the right(s) you wish to exercise. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to reasonable verification.
Verification. To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We may ask you to provide information sufficient to match you to the personal data we hold.
Response timeframe. We will respond to your request without undue delay and in any event within forty-five (45) days of receipt. When reasonably necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests, we may extend the response period by an additional forty-five (45) days. If we require an extension, we will inform you of the extension and the reason for it within the initial 45-day period. Information provided in response to a request will generally be provided free of charge, up to twice annually, unless the request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive.
11. Right to Appeal
If we decline to take action on your request, we will notify you of our decision and the reasons for it. You have the right to appeal our decision within a reasonable period after you receive our notice. To submit an appeal, contact us using the details in Section 16 with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal" and include a description of your original request and our response.
Within sixty (60) days of receipt of your appeal, we will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response, along with a written explanation of the reasons for our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the New Hampshire Attorney General to submit a complaint. We will provide a conspicuous method to contact the Attorney General in our appeal decision.
12. NHDPA Applicability Thresholds
The NHDPA generally applies to persons that conduct business in New Hampshire, or that produce products or services targeted to New Hampshire residents, and that during a one-year period either (a) controlled or processed the personal data of at least 35,000 unique New Hampshire consumers (excluding data processed solely to complete a payment transaction), or (b) controlled or processed the personal data of at least 10,000 unique New Hampshire consumers and derived more than 25% of gross revenue from the sale of personal data. We provide the disclosures and rights in this Policy for transparency regardless of whether these thresholds are currently met.
13. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are under 13, please do not use the Site or provide any personal information. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it as promptly as practicable. Consistent with the NHDPA, we will not knowingly process the personal data of a consumer we know to be between the ages of 13 and 15 for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling without consent. Parents or guardians who believe their child may have provided personal information to us may contact us at the details in Section 16.
14. Email Communications (CAN-SPAM)
If we send you promotional or marketing email, we will comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. This means we will identify the message as an advertisement where required, include a valid physical postal address, and provide a clear and conspicuous way to opt out of future promotional email. You can opt out at any time by using the "unsubscribe" link in any promotional email or by contacting us at jeannejwellness@gmail.com. We will honor opt-out requests promptly. We may still send you non-promotional, transactional messages relating to your inquiries or an existing service relationship.
15. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to your inquiries, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we will delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.
16. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction, and we rely in part on the security measures of our website platform provider. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
17. A Note on Health Information
Because we offer physical therapy and wellness services, you may be inclined to share health-related information. The Site is not intended for the collection of health information, and information you submit through the Site is not necessarily protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Any protected health information handled in connection with the provision of professional services is addressed separately under our service and privacy practices for clients. Please do not transmit medical or health details through the Site’s contact form.
18. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate or control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and post the revised Policy on the Site. Material changes may be communicated through additional means where appropriate.
